The festival features literary showcases, workshops, performances and a book fair, making it a wonderful choice for readers, writers, families and anyone interested in Canadian literature and culture.
Presented through BlackLit Durham and its partners, the festival is designed to connect audiences with Black Canadian stories and voices across a variety of literary genres
Toronto – Music Event

Enjoy an evening of Canadian music when Blue Rodeo takes the stage at Toronto's RBC Amphitheatre, joined by special guests William Prince and Billianne.
The concert is part of Blue Rodeo's 40th Anniversary Tour and offers a great opportunity to enjoy one of Canada's best-known bands in an outdoor waterfront setting.

It's hard to say goodbye to summer without a visit to The Canadian National Exhibition!
The CNE offers something for almost everyone, including carnival rides, midway games, food, shopping, exhibits, live entertainment and family attractions.
The 2026 CNE runs from August 21 through September 7, meaning visitors can choose from many different days during our August 22–September 4 period.
Whether you go for the food, rides, entertainment, shopping or simply the traditional end-of-summer atmosphere, the CNE remains one of Toronto's classic summer outings. Children four and under are admitted free.
